Political Science

Overview & History

The Department of Political Science was founded in 1981. Dr Mrs Biswamohini Mangaraj was the first faculty member of the Dept. Political Science was taught as Pass and Elective subject in graduation level and as Optional subject at intermediate level. Honours teaching of the subject started in 2018 with 16 seats.

Currently Honours department has 16 seats in each year of +3 and 48 seats in Generic Elective.
